The Japan Rail Pass is a special pass valid for unlimited travel on Japan Railways (JR) transportation, including all JR trains, Shinkansen bullet trains (*for Nozomi & Mizuho trains additional fares will apply), limited express trains, express trains and rapid or local trains and JR bus company local lines.
You will require a physical exchange coupon before departing New Zealand, as you will need to exchange this for your actual Rail Pass in Japan.

We work with our JTB network in Japan to assist you in arranging airline tickets, accomodations, Japan Rail Pass, Japan Rail Section tickets, and other general ticket arrangements to ensure a safe trip.
